Stacking the Shelves #13

Stacking the Shelves is about sharing the books you’re adding to your shelves for the week. Show off the books you’ve bought, won, borrowed, etc. While it’s usually hosted on Saturdays, it can be posted any day of the week that works. For my own personal time management, my STS posts will probably be on Sundays when I make them. STS is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. Click to learn more and follow other awesome bloggers!

I wanted to share this haul last weekend, but time got away from me so I’m having to make the post later than I intended. This is my haul over the last three weeks or so and it’s been GREAT. And I’m sure there’s more to come soon. :)

These were books I bought last weekend while out with a friend. I love coupons, btw. Majorly helped out on the budget with this if it hadn’t been for her!

Tiger Lily
The Duff (I have been waiting for this.)
Eyes Like Stars

Sweet Peril (Okay, I wasn’t a huge fan of the first book, tbh. I ranted quite a bit in my review I admit. But there’s a curiosity to continue anyway.)
Ashfall (The major anticipation of wanting this book since before its release has been driving me bonkers. I keep hearing so many great things. FINALLY my local BAM shelved it. Score for me!)

Also bought this awesome looking X-Men novel while I was grocery shopping a couple of weeks ago:

I mean, seriously? How can I not pass that up, right? It better not disappoint me. I’ll be judging you, X-Men Book. *points*

Gifted:

I received a package a couple weeks ago from the amazing Wendy Darling of The Midnight Garden. Carnival of Souls (if you haven’t learned by now, Melissa Marr is one of my all-time faves and I try to read evvverrryything by her) and Amelia Anne is Dead and Gone have been on my wish list for some time. Really brightened my day to get these--along with some other cute and awesome swag items she included like a Midnight Garden bookmark, another bookmark and postcard. ^_^

Oh! And I met Christina from A Reader of Fictions last week (8/21). It was awesome. Look forward to seeing her again sometime. Along with many other wonderful people at BEA next year! Anyway, she gifted me this book, which I’d surprisingly hadn’t heard much about until she told me. Ha! But often, that’s how I find some of my favorites--and this one sounds really good. If it’s recommended by her, I’m pretty certain most of the time I’ll like it also.

Did you have a haul this last week or two?

Happy reading!

  6. Yay! I hope you enjoy AMELIA, it's kind of a weirdo book but I liked it. :) I'm glad everything arrived safely, and I can't wait to hear what you think of TIGER LILY, too.
