Q: Summer Reading. What was your favorite book that you were REQUIRED to read when you were in school?

It’s a toss-up here.

Romeo and Juliet--which I’d already read before we were assigned the play in my freshman year but really enjoyed reading and discussing in class.

Wuthering Heights. I read it for the first time in sophomore year for a class and it became one of my all-time favorites. I still re-read it constantly and have several (some quite worn) copies on my shelf.

Have a great weekend and happy reading!

    1. Yes, they are. I adore Charlotte Bronte and her Jane Eyre too. Surprisingly, I haven't had the chance to read Anne Bronte yet though. I want to read "Agnes Grey" so bad, but it's extremely hard finding her work in stores around here. I'll have to order it. :)

    1. You're not alone in that, really. I've had numerous people tell me they couldn't stand the book the first time, then did a re-read sometime later and realized they were wrong about it. Haha. :P

      Thanks for stopping by! :)

  10. Hi! I had to read Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing amd really enjoyed it. Even if I hadn't I think you have to read Romeo and Juliet at some point in your life. And Wuthering Heights seems to be many people's favorite :)
