Q: What would your prefer: reading your favorite book over and over again until you got sick of it OR reading 100s of mediocre books? And why?
Oh wow. That’s a bit of a tough question. I think I might rather read my favorite over and over again. Mediocre books are so hard sometimes, because they’re just that: mediocre. Nothing to swoon about. You don’t love them. You don’t hate them. And obviously I’ll never read them again. It would get very boring being in that situation. At least with a favorite, I would have my emotion and characters I adore. And I seriously doubt I’d get sick of it, too.
Happy Friday!
I'd read my favorite book over and over and over!

Love your answer. Mediocre books definitely don't make you swoon :)

But for me, with the mediocre books? There's always that chance that maybe the next one will be your new favorite.

I couldn't agree more...I'd probably give up on reading if all I could read were so-so books.

New follower. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I agree with you! I struggle when I find a book mediocre and I often leave them unfinished if they don't grab me enough. Here's my answer.
Your answer is very same to mine:

I'd so get sick of reading my favorites again and again. At least with mediocre books I still get to explore a new world. Hopefully I'll find a great one in that stack.
