What's Your Status? (7)

Photobucket

This meme comes from Butterfly Feet Walking On Life. (For the month of August, the meme is being hosted by Marla @ Starting The Next Chapter) The object is to post what you have finished in the last week, what you are currently reading, what you plan to read in the coming week, and what you want to buy next. You can also post about reviews you've written, are going to be writing, memes you have done, current giveaways, etc.- though these aren't mandatory. What’s your weekly status?

Books finished week of August 14-20:

Ward Against Death by Melanie Card
(I’ve been in a bit of a “reading rut” lately. I read, of course, but it seems a bit more slowly. I think it’s because my schedule has been a little hectic recently due to upcoming school starting for kids and preparations, etc. plus my working toward publication. Any of you other bloggers experience “reading ruts” before, though?)

Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

  2. I was in a kind of slow reading turmoil, so I decided to pick up some short books [round about 200-300 pages long] and I have been reading like madness. I have read more than I would reading a large book at the time being.

I also force myself to read for longer periods as well. Which is great because It means I can enjoy the books I am reading without thinking if the house needs to be cleaned :p
