Q. Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?
I always have such a hard time with these type of questions. I have so many favorite authors that it can be difficult to choose from. And there’s a very select list that if I could somehow meet, I would really love to- especially to get writing advice, inspiration from a conversation, or just a fun book discussion.
Three authors that would probably be at the top of my list (and mind you, let’s say some supernatural force just happens to allow me to bring back one from the past) would be:
J.K. Rowling
William Shakespeare
Richelle Mead

JK Rowling is quite the popular answer this week! It is starting to make me sad that I haven't read HP, lol.

Hopping through. I'd be interested to see how Shakespeare actually speaks. Both his accent and whether he uses the formal English he writes in.

Great choices! I just got to see Shakespeare's Globe a few weeks ago! Would love to talk to him in it! I'm a new follower. My answers are up at Coffee Table Reviews.
ReplyDeleteOh, great picks! I never even thought of Shakespeare. That would definitely be interesting. And I still have to read Richelle Mead's books!

Hi. Happy Belated FF from a new follower. Interesting choices; you're the first I've seen to list Shakespeare. I have to admit that even though I hated his writing when I had to study it at school, I wouldn't mind picking his brains for an hour or too.
